Holiday Travels Part 2: Phuket, Thailand

After Singapore, my friends and I headed to Phuket, Thailand, which is an island is the southern part of the country. I saw some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen before here. Soft white sand, warm turquoise water, and beautiful limestone cliffs painting the background.
My first meal in Phuket, Thailand: garlic clams and a coconut milkshake, followed by yellow curry and pad thai! The food in Thailand is simply incredible and I could not get enough! I had at least one coconut milkshake a day!

First trip to the beach! (Kata Beach)

While in Phuket, my friend Eddie from Andover was there for the weekend with his Hong Kong office for a company outing. I was lucky enough to visit him at the incredible 5 star resort he was staying at. Easily the most expensive and luxurious hotel I have ever been to! Below are some photos of the resort.

After spending some time at the beach and exploring Phuket, we went to Phi Phi Island and Krabi which is a few hour boat ride away. The islands were by far the best part of southern Thailand! The beaches are simply divine.

The photos below were taken on Phi Phi island and Krabi.

Kayaking through mangroves and limestone cliffs in Krabi

Note the monkey sitting on the front of Bri's kayak--he joined us and would make his way from one kayak to another, just checking things out.

Good ole transportation
